Our Weather
Four Distinct Seasons
If you are relocating from Florida, you'll enjoy what most people adore about Cary, NC - four distinct seasons. Snow doesn't fall very often, but it is an unexpected delight when it does. Most snowfall melts away within hours or by the next day, allowing most residents to cheerfully agree that our snowfall tends to be "just enough."
If you are relocating from the North, one change in climate you'll fall in love with is our early spring. While cities in New York and New Jersey are still facing brisk weather and even snow in March, Cary is blooming with bright colorful flowers and lush greenery. Warm afternoon temperatures can find you strolling outdoors with short sleeves and sun-kissed cheeks. |
